Roblox made a deal with Charli XCX last year to use her music and likeness as part of an in-game concert within Dress to Impress - one of the most popular experiences on the platform.

A Charli XCX-inspired “Apple dance” by TikTok user Kelley Heyer sparked a copyright lawsuit against Roblox for allegedly using it in the game.

Roblox added the dance emote in mid-August, coinciding with a Dress to Impress update that added everything Brat (Charli XCX’s summer hit album) to the game on Aug. 17.
