Online game platform Roblox is back online after an outage on Thursday (28 October) saw players and creators unable to access the virtual world for three days over the Halloween weekend.

Roblox is back online everywhere! The recovery came after an outage that lasted three days, a somewhat rare streak of blackout for a tech firm of Roblox's colossal size.

Roblox, the gaming platform that is immensely popular amongst young players, said on Twitter Sunday evening that it is back online worldwide.

The fast-casual chain is offering a free "boorito" to customers who show up at their Roblox restaurant dressed in virtual Halloween costumes.

Hot Topic’s virtual clothing campaign on Roblox launched Monday and has reached more than 1 million players, according to the brand.
