Microsoft adds: Excel users now have access to powerful analytics via Python for visualizations, cleaning data, machine learning, predictive analytics, and more.

Microsoft is integrating Python into its Excel app. A public preview is available for Microsoft 365 subscribers now and all the Python code runs on the Microsoft Cloud.

Excel gets containerized, cloud-based Python analytics and visualization powers Visualization and analytics tools available in preview, but may be paywalled.

This will enable users to perform complex statistical analysis, advanced visualizations, predictive analytics, and machine learning in Excel.
