Click the "OK" button. The "Developer" tab will now appear on your ribbon menu. From there, you can click the "Visual Basic" button to see the embedded macro code in your spreadsheet.
Launch Visual Basic 6 or Visual Basic Express. Open the project file in which you want to create a module and command button that creates an Excel spreadsheet from selected data.
Launch Microsoft Excel. Click the Developer tab, then click the Visual Basic button. Once the VBA Editor is open, type the code to change the color of the cell.
Click “OK” to apply the changes. Once you have access to the Developer tab, open the VBA editor by clicking on the “Visual Basic” button within the tab.
