LILYGO T-Encoder-Pro is a rotary encoder based on Espressif Systems ESP32-S3 WiFi and Bluetooth SoC, equipped with a 1.2-inch AMOLED with touchscreen support, and two Qwiic connectors for expansion.

The T-Keyboard-S3 Pro adds ESP32-S3, STM32G030, magnetic links, a fifth screen/encoder, and supports 6 devices in a 2x3 grid.

He then programmed the ESP32 to interpret the signals as mouse movements and button presses, and send the results to a computer through a BlueTooth connection.
