Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson appeared on CNBC on Tuesday and was asked to comment on the news of WWE’s attempt at a sale. Per reports, the company is looking to sell by mid-2023.

Johnson has said in recent months that he’s open to making an in-ring return with WWE. He last wrestled a six-second match against Erik Rowan at WrestleMania 32 in 2016.

It was Dwayne Johnson’s first appearance on WWE television since October 2019. Johnson, 51, appeared in a segment with Pat McAfee (who was also making his return to the WWE) and Austin Theory.
