Azure Cosmos DB is an easy-to-use, scalable, NoSQL database available in Microsoft’s Azure cloud. Cosmos DB is hosted on SSDs and hence data storage and retrieval is very fast.

A lot of deep engineering has gone into creating a system that offers battle-tested SLAs. In Cosmos DB, we are constantly adding more consistency models and not all are exposed.
