In the right pane of Control Panel, double click/tap on Prohibit access to Control Panel and PC settings. This setting disables all Control Panel programs and the PC settings app.

This will create a Control Panel tile directly in the Windows 8 Start Screen. You can then click on the Control Panel tile when you wish to open the Control Panel.

You can make Control Panel open in Category or All Items - Large or Small Icons View, using the UI or Registry in Windows 11/10.

As you can see, the control panel is divided into square sections which includes a green ‘Main Systems’ section and controls for functions for example OS shortcuts like Open, Save and Close.

Save the installer on your computer. Double-click the installer to start installing the latest drivers, along with the NVIDIA Control Panel.
