To equip class mods in Borderlands 3 you have to finish the first main quest on Promethea. This hour-long mission culminates in a fight with Gigamind (pictured above).

A new legendary FL4K class mod will be added with the Borderlands 3 Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC, and it is very strong.
