A 7-year-old boy competing in a Russian chess tournament had his index finger broken by his opponent: a robot who went haywire.

A 7-year-old boy is recovering after his finger was broken by a chess-playing robot in Russia last week at an event in Moscow.

A robot partaking in a chess tournament grabbed and broke the finger of a seven-year-old boy, after he moved more quickly than the bot expected.
