Android Studio 4.1 brings a new Database Inspector tool, some improvements to Material Design, and a more deeply integrated Android Emulator.

Google has released Android Studio 4.1, which comes with a host of bug fixes and new features including a Database Inspector, standalone profilers, and foldable Android Emulator devices.

Other changes include an overhauled System Trace utility, better navigation when using Dagger for dependency injections, an updated Database Inspector, and updates to Material Design Components.
