Remix OS is a variant of Android designed to look and work like Windows 7, that can run any Android app in the Google Play store.

Jide’s Remix OS brings multitasking, windows, and a taskbar to Android, and you can run it on a PC. Even in alpha, the fledgling OS is an intriguing look at what could be.

Update: Remix OS for PC is now available for download. Jide worked with the developers behind the Android-x86 project to bring Remix OS to desktops.

That means every time you boot your computer, you’ll have the option to choose which operating system to run. Right now the Remix OS for PC installer supports Windows 7 and later.

The community-created Android for PC Bliss OS (x86) recently announced that it would now support ARM 64 Emulation and Magisk Support on its platform to integrate the smartphone software better.
