Acuity has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the outstanding capital stock of Sensor Switch, developer and manufacturer of lighting controls and energy management systems.

Sensor Switch, a private company founded in 1987, posted more than $37 million in revenue for the fiscal year ending Oct. 31, 2008, Acuity said.
