The latest update to Java on Visual Studio Code improves the debugging experience thanks to support for the newly released Java 19.

The team maintains extensions, including the Extension Pack for Java (16.4 million installs), which bundles six individual extensions that provide the VS Code Java experience.

The October update of Microsoft's Visual Studio Code for Java comes with updates in the code editing and debugging experience, thanks to the Java 19 preview of Virtual Threads in Project Loom.
