‘Retired Number'. It is the title of a song by the Japanese singer, Miyuki Nakajima. As the song says, I agree that humans are small things in a society. None care about it, whether they die or not.

「永久欠番」とは、球界で多くの実績を残した選手の栄誉を称え、そのチーム内で他の選手が使用することができなくなる番号。MLBでは、Retired Numberと呼ばれる。日本では1947年に巨人の4番（黒沢俊夫）と14番（沢村栄治）が初めて永久欠番に指定された。
