Red Bull Formula 1 driver Yuki Tsunoda has reflected on the "tough" Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, after making his way through the field following a scary crash in qualifying. The Japanese driver started the race at the iconic Imola circuit from the pit lane due to the amount of work needed on the RB21 following the crash.

Yuki Tsunoda will start from the pitlane in F1's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix after Red Bull built up a spare chassis following his Imola qualifying accident. Heading into the fast Villeneuve chicane at the end of the first sector, Tsunoda lost control over his RB21 and made heavy contact with the inside wall, sending his car into a barrel roll.

Red Bull's Yuki Tsunoda crashed heavily in the first phase of qualifying for the Emilia-Romagna Formula One Grand Prix on Saturday and was taken to the Imola circuit medical centre for checks. The session was halted for repairs to the tyre barriers.
