Canonical, Ubuntu's parent company, in partnership with Microsoft has made it possible to install Visual Studio Code on any Linux distribution which supports snap.

Microsoft said it loves Linux now, and new tweaks to Visual Studio will appeal to open-source loving developers.
It's offered as an extension to Visual Studio Code and is available to install now. But first, you must install Linux (and have an NVIDIA GPU).
