A new Roblox game heavily inspired by Peak, the hot new social game on Steam, has ruffled the feathers of both developers and players alike.

Peak developers criticise Roblox copy of their game and encourage piracy over playing the microtransaction version.

The team behind indie hit Peak would rather its community pirate its own game, than play a "microtransaction-riddled" ripoff that has appeared on Roblox.

Payday developer and publisher Starbreeze has officially sanctioned Notoriety, a popular heist shooter in Roblox, that previously existed as a Payday-inspired fan game.
