CodeCombat, a platform that helps people learn to code through browser-based gaming, has raised $6 million in a series A round of funding.

The web-based game teaches rudimentary JavaScript fundamentals, including everything you'd learn in an introductory computer science course, by forcing you to code your way through the game.
