Chrome 86 has arrived and brought tons of new security measures but it's also delivering a Native File System API that will make PWAs a whole lot better.

Chrome 91 is rolling out today. It contains enhancements to the File System Access and WebOTP APIs. WebAssembly applications will also receive a performance boost thanks to the SIMD parallelism API.

The Native File System API changed that when it appeared in Chrome 78 as an Origin Trial, and now it's rolling out widely as part of Chrome 86.
