Hospital staff and witnesses said at least 11 people were killed after a strike near tents housing displaced people on Friday.

The strikes come as President Trump on Friday said there could be a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas within the next week.

Israeli strikes killed at least 72 people across Gaza overnight and into Saturday, health workers said, as ceasefire prospects were said to be improving after 21 months of war.
